Care Instructions
Wooden Pieces
Wood is a living material that responds to its environment. With a little care, your wooden pieces will remain beautiful and functional for many years.
As a natural material, wood may also feature small cracks or variations. This is a natural result of how wood behaves over time and part of what makes each piece unique.
Cleaning
Kitchen Pieces - After use, wash your wooden item by hand with warm water and a mild dish soap. Rinse it thoroughly and dry it with a towel. Avoid soaking the piece in water for extended periods, as this can cause the wood fibers to swell.
Home Wooden Pieces - Gently dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush and keep the piece away from moisture, direct sunlight, and harsh cleaners to preserve its natural wood finish.
Avoid Dishwashers
Dishwashers expose wood to prolonged heat, water, and strong detergents, which can damage the material over time. Always wash wooden pieces by hand.
Drying
After washing, allow the piece to air dry completely before storing it. Keeping wood in a dry environment helps reserve its shape and strength.
Oiling
Over time, wood may begin to look dry or lose some of its natural sheen. When this happens, apply a small amount of food-safe oil, such as walnut oil, using a soft cloth. Let the oil absorb into the wood, then wipe away any excess. Regular oiling helps maintain the wood’s smooth surface and protects it from moisture.
General Care
Wooden pieces are best used with care and attention. Avoid leaving them in standing water or placing them near strong heat sources. With simple maintenance and mindful use, these pieces will age gracefully and continue to serve your kitchen and home for many years.
Paintings
Hang your painting in a place with adequate lighting but not in direct sunlight.
